So This is Christmas…And What Have You Done

Another year over. A new one’s just begun…

The words to that song haunt me more than many other Christmas carols. Why? Because at the end of every year I look back at the resolutions I have made and, low and behold, I haven’t kept a single one of them. This past year, I did do many things though. I had a baby. And, many panic attacks later, I managed to fail at my New Year’s Resolution for last year: Let go and let God. I let worry rule last year. Perhaps the resolution itself was just too big for me. This year, I have a few resolutions I will keep.
  1. Read every day. The Bible as well as the book schedule I have already implemented.
  2. Exercise 30 minutes a day five times a day.
  3. Eat healthy - minimize sweets to once a month.
  4. Let go and let God...
  5. Get Nathanial on a sleeping/eating schedule. For real this time.
  6. Write.
  7. Blog daily.
  8. Let go and let God...
  9. Limit TV viewing. In short: Lost, The Office, Jon and Kate Plus 8, and any TLC show that is of particular interest, such as, Half Man Half Tree or anything involving dwarfism.
  10. LET GO AND LET GOD...

You're awesome, Sara. :-)
I'm not sure why I'm only compelled to comment on TV related posts at the moment, but I just have to say that I fully support Lost and The Office belonging on the limited TV viewing list! Those are definitely two of my very favorite shows ever. I've also heard that Jon and Kate Plus 8 is good, and have been told I should watch it (mainly because of the Asian dude and half Asian kids ;-)). And I have no idea what Half Man Half Tree is, but it sounds quite entertaining.
