What A Day This Has Been...

What a rare mood I'm in...
Why it's almost like being in love...

Anyway, this has been one crazy day.

• 5:30 am --> wake up, feed Nathanial, go back to sleep
• 7:45 am --> wake up (for real this time) eat breakfast, wake Nathanial, feed him yogurt, stretch and exercise his arm until...
• 8:30 am --> gentlemen come to replace HVAC unit. (It is a wonderful 72 degrees in my house!)
• 9:00-9:30 --> work for Elizabeth
• 9:30-10:00 --> clean out hall closet so gentlemen can wire in the new thermostat wire
• 10:15 --> start the process of trying to get Nathanial to take a nap
• 11:00 --> Nathanial is down for a nap
• 11:15 --> Start a load of laundry
• 11:30 --> eat a hot pocket
• 11:45 --> dust the office, pick up laundry and dishes from around the house
• 12:30 --> Feed Nathanial lunch
• 1:00 --> Play with Nathanial on floor
• 1:15 --> Place Nathanial in bouncy and clean Lee's bathroom
• 1:45 --> Give Nathanial a bottle and try for a nap
• 2:15 --> Give in on Nathanial taking a nap, put him in a secure spot on the floor surrounded by toys and take a shower
• 2:25 --> Find baby still in floor playing with toys. If anyone has ANY better ideas on this, please let me know. Yes, I could put him in his crib with toys and maybe that is a better idea, or even forget the shower and just stink all of the time...but, I just don't know what the best option is...
• 2:30 --> Put on makeup, fix hair, brush teeth
• 2:45 --> Play with baby on bed
• 3:00 --> Leave baby on bed for 2 seconds to grab my cell phone from the office (it's not even 5 feet away...I have a tiny house) and freak out when baby is in the floor wailing because he fell of the bed...I picked him up, held him close to me, rocked him, gave him a few sips of bottle, called his daddy and let him talk to his daddy on the phone and when things calmed down, called the pediatric nurse and learned the signs of a concussion. So scary...
• 3:00-4:00 --> freaked out about fall, loved on Nathanial and got him ready to go to his Nana's for dinner...

Where I was until about 8:00 pm...

Whew...

Okay, I'm done.
